There are two main types of accounts in Telestream Cloud. While they share many similarities, their applications are different.
User accounts are meant for your team members to grant them access to your account for collaboration. Each user account has its own set of privileges, credentials and an API key. An example could be members of your dev team who are managing transcoding process of your files.
Service accounts should be used for external services and applications that require access to your TC services and resources. This way you can allow your own or 3rd party applications to integrate with TC to automate your media processing workflows. Imagine an application responsible only for submitting jobs to Flip service and nothing else. All it needs is read/write access to factories in Flip.
