Introduction to Telestream Cloud Flip transcoding
Telestream Cloud Flip is multi-cloud video transcoding service that runs on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure. It takes your source files, converts them to required output formats and delivers them back to your storage.
It allows you to easily produce high quality content for a variety of applications - from mobile to broadcast:
- H264, H.265 or VP9 for web publishing
- HLS & MPEG-DASH with AES/Common Encryption DRM for multi-screen devices
- MPEG-2 TS, XDCAM, AVC-Intra, IMX, Apple ProRes, DNxHD for broadcasting and professional workflows
Flip provides you with the flexibility to process and store your media files in multiple regions, as close to your source files as possible, reducing latency and egress costs. Transcoded media files can be delivered to one of the supported storage options:
- AWS S3
- Google Cloud Storage
- Azure Blob Storage
- IBM Aspera
- (S)FTP
- IBM Cloud Object Storage (contact us for more details)
