Health & Status Summary in Asset Details

The first collection of information presented in the Asset Details view is a quick summary of the running time of the monitoring job, health of monitoring points, a review of the asset and stream variant status and a representative thumbnail providing some confidence monitoring if Live ABR Monitor can decode the video.

The thumbnail is selectable by stream variant and location by selecting the variant name and location fields. This makes it very easy to quickly validate that current video by variant in each location. Thumbnails typically update every few seconds on their own.

The Asset Details view also makes it very easy to view Current Alarms, Solved Alarms and a summary of more informational events in the Transaction Log.

Current Alarms
Any alarms that are currently being triggered will show up in this area. Alarm thresholds are defined in the alarm template. If there is no alarm template associated with the asset, you may not ever see alarms present.

Solved Alarms
Alarms that were formerly active but have since stopped being triggered will show up in this view. Alarms stop being triggered when they are no longer out of threshold as defined in the applicable alarm template. Certain alarms have "windows" where if they were triggered in the window period, they will continue to show up as active even if what triggered the alarm is no longer being experienced.

Transaction Logs
There may be important information present in the monitoring logs that would not necessarily cause an alarm to be triggered but that could be useful in diagnosing impairments or performance degradation. These logs are displayed here.
