Transform Engine Updates
Engine Version 2021-06-001

  • In order to take advantage of these changes customers will need to upgrade their factory with the latest engine version, or create a new factory. All new factories created after this date will leverage the latest engine version

    • Added ability to use Dolby Vision Segment/TrimPass metadata in conversions from Dolby Vision HDR masters to SDR
    • Upgraded MainConcept libraries to version 11.5
    • Trimming Long-GOP material while doing a direct convert now trims to the nearest I-Frame
    • Refactored Dolby-E audio property accessors for use in Transform, currently 32-bit sampling is supported, 16-bit and 24-bit to come in a subsequent release
    • Added $date$ field for use in ContainerWriter path / templates
    • Improved support for handling DPP Metadata
